UGM agenda: General Election

Website Banner UGM

In the run up to the General Meeting on Thursday 26 November, we’ll be discussing the agenda items and asking you what you think. Please share your thoughts in the comments below and remember to come along to the meeting to make sure your voice is heard. It’s from 5-7pm in Fox 4 Lecture Theatre at Falmouth Campus. All students are welcome!

General Election

One of our priorities this year is to encourage as many students as possible to take part in democracy. As the campus crosses two constituencies (Camborne/Redruth and Falmouth/Truro), most of the students living in the area are eligible to vote. Roger will be introducing the campaign for the year and the events we have planned. He’ll also be taking any ideas you have to raise voter awareness leading up to the General Election on 7 May. You can find out more about the mission here and leave your comments below.

If you have any additional comments leading up to and during the meeting, tweet us @FXUtweet and use the hashtag #FXUugm. We’ll be live tweeting the event! And remember, if there is an issue you feel really strongly about it, come along to the meeting. Your voice is important!
